Gloria Cardenas is the founder of Familia America, LLC. and an experienced immigration attorney, licensed in California and representing individuals and employers from all 50 states and around the world. She is a graduate of UCLA and UC Law San Francisco. We are passionate about achieving our client’s American dream of lawful status and U.S. Citizenship. Early in her career as a litigator, she was recognized by the Daily Journal as one of the Top 40 Litigators under 40 in the State of California. She has successfully represented hundreds of immigrants before the immigration court saving many from imminent deportation. She is the daughter of the Honorable Raymond Cardenas, one of the founding members of the Mexican American Bar Association. She served as an independent member of the Utah Latino Legislative Task Force, as a Board of Director for the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Ms. Cardenas is a native of Los Angeles, mother of four and resides in Utah with her Canadian husband.

Gloria has always had a deeply personal connection to immigration. Growing up in Los Angeles, California, a community with a large immigrant population, she witnessed the struggles and determination of her immigrant parents. Her mother, orphaned in World War II, immigrated from England and taught herself various skills, including reading. Gloria's father, Judge Raymond Cardenas, came from a large Mexican family and faced obstacles, but managed to become a judge and was a founding member of the Mexican American Bar Association. Inspired by her parents' perseverance, Gloria became an immigration attorney to help others achieve the American dream.

Starting her immigration law firm in 2009, Gloria embarked on a journey of learning and advocating for her clients. Through hard work, attending countless seminars, and receiving invaluable mentorship, she honed her skills in immigration law. Gloria's approach to each case is like solving a puzzle, listening carefully to her clients and working tirelessly to secure legal status for them and their families.

Gloria's passion for immigration law is deeply rooted in her desire to make a positive impact. With an impressive approval rate of 98% for the cases she handles, she takes pride in assisting individuals in their pursuit of U.S. citizenship.
