There could be some delays as far as appearing in court or appearing at USCIS or appearing for naturalization ceremonies. However, applications, fingerprinting, etc., are still business as usual.
How Familia America processes immigration applications
After we receive your signed contract, our team will email a questionnaire to complete and a list of documents. When we file your application, we do not need original documents, meaning you can take a picture and text the documents to us. You could fax or FedEx documents to us.
It seems like it would be a lot of work for our clients but is very simple. For example, you can take a picture of your birth certificate and if it is good, you could just text it to us.
Once we have a completed questionnaire and all required documents, we will prepare your application and send you a FedEx package where you can send your medical info, fingerprints, photographs, government filing fees, etc.
Finally, we will send the application to the government. The government sends a receipt to yourself and our team.
We have been doing this for over five years. During that time, we have created systems specifically to handle the challenges you are experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
